Lavon vs. Ryan....

You guys aren't fender racing in the NHRDA are ya? Seriously, there are cars running faster than 7.50 at more than 3600lb in my little corner of the country, much less 8.50! Forget the cert and go for the win!

New rules for safety though. Pretty much an 8.50 index now. Go faster, it's a DQ

Throttle for 1/2 a track, laundry at 3/4 track, and Lavon still ran a 9.xxx.

Effin rules. That time should have started with a 7. I'll have videos up in a few minutes.

Miller Vs Milliken from our vantage point.

What is the reasoning behind not showing a time when someone red lights? Ryan was 8.76 so Lavon was 8.something smaller.

Congrats to both of you guys for putting on a great show and to Ryan for the win!

Lavon left before the tree loaded so the tree assumed it was a bye run for Milliken.

Ryan was only on the throttle for 7.6 seconds and coasted to an 8.7...

Just so you know, I'm not as smart as I think I am.

I was told that there were officials there to observe and consider lowering the time to 7.5 hope it happens.

That would have been an 8.50 breakout for sure! What were the short times?

As an aside, wasn't there some guy on here who talked about the cage regulations for exhibition vehicles? Couldn't they just do that, and be legal for under 8.50?

SFI was in attendance. People were on their toes.

This turnout was big.

No. Anytime I red lit I got nothing for a time.

ughhh, I still beat myself up watching this video You win some and you lose some, just bummed there wasn't at least a time even though I went red. Its a lot easier for me to be ok with losing if there's a mechanical issue or just heads up loss, but its a little harder pill to swallow when I make a driver error. We still had a lot of fun and saw a lot of great racers/friends in Oklahoma this weekend! Hope to see you guys at TS.

By the launch, it looked like it was on a pretty hot tune....

Must be major red lights. LBTA (left before third amber) will not have a time, anything up to -.499 red should have a time unless running a .4 tree, then anything up to -.399 will should show ET and MPH.

Yeah I think it's only if you break the beams before the yellows are even triggered....kinda like you did at DPC a couple years....er...a decade ago

I wasn't planning on losing because I didn't put enough power into it

It was bad, i was a little rattled from the thrash we did in the pits right before the pass and was trying to bang a light, the lights didn't drop when they normally would and i was creeping up on boost and got to the point where it was either let off or go. 100% driver error either way.

The tree was terrible I think, if that makes sense? I had some of my biggest RTs I've ever had or I red lit.

Yes, new vehicle (for me) but it didn't matter if I drove my vehicle or someone else's, auto or manual, I could bang off a sub .200 RT easily. I had 2 over .300 and red lit the other 2.

I thought the tree was pretty good. I had four .0xx lights for the 10.90 index.

Probably me then. I'll get better the more I run the car.
