flex plate

Guy that helped me on my swap bought a 2010 with a 6.7 swapped but not complete. He's going to put a 12 valve in it. Will the flex plate and adapter work on the from the 6.7 to the 12 valve?

most likely not, in some cases if the engine had a g56 on it from the factory it will bolt up. but otherwise you will need to do some modification to the lip of the crank where the flexplate locates itself

I believe that one of the holes on the adapter does not line up.

2 holes are different, and the CR has an o-ring to seal the cam where the 12/24v has a cut out. I make and sell both, you can usally modify a CR plate to work with a 12/24v but not the other way around due to the o-ring groove. Are you keeping the factory 5r transmission
