Awesome topic!
I did learn an answer that I was going to post a topic on, from this one.
That was if a block with a fire notched bore (from a bad head gasket) would still be viable for a deck plate engine and from the pics I seen here, I'd say that's a resounding "yes".

We are putting 06 style harness ends on my 04.5 harness, since Drew already has drawings for the 06 style billet valve cover and we'll be running UDC again this year.

Are you doing the Udc running just to compare motor to motor on the same type of tuning then going to efi to compare tuning to tuning?

No it will probably stay a UDC tuned truck, we have been able to match the HP number/curve in EFI comparisons. We are pursuing UDC development to keep the 03-05 market alive
