Thank you! Boiler system that will heat the new shop floor, the parts room floor, a hanging Reznor unit in the old shop and baseboard in office and entryway.

Thanks. I think it's bright enough. I was going to go LED but wasn't worth it when figuring price vs electric savings.

My first thought as well! The shop looks like it's coming along very nicely.

You can always replace the bulbs with LED replacements. They are much more cost effective than a led strip light

I've run those exact same numbers. Are those T8 high output or something? Can't remember my own research.
Also, we do a fair amount of painting and fluorescent has always been the light of choice for body shops. I just wonder if LED lights will give you that gleam needed for painting, color sanding, and buffing.

These are actually T5 High output only 5/8" in Dia. I have yet to be in a working shop with full LED's so Im not sure either.

Looks good! I wish I had my steel on my walls and ceiling. Hopefully in the next couple months.
I ended up with similar insulation except mine is 5" foam in 4'x4' sheets and I will not have any other fill.
I am doing all LEDs in mine. We will see how it looks. The nice thing about the LED high bay fixtures is that they are dimmable. I will be able to put plenty of light out there, and dim it down depending on the situation.

Thanks. All takes time. Quality Led pixtures were 3X the price of these T-5's. I can also turn on 2,4, or all 6 bulbs in each fixture.
