48re in need of pressure controller?

My trans has been rebuilt with suncoast rebuild kit, Goerend Triple disc converter, valve body, billet input, apply lever, etc and everything works good at WOT but at low throttle input it shuttle shifts from 1st and 2nd back and forth until more throttle is applied. Also the truck will occasionally throw the p1740 code. Clearing it is no trouble but I am curious if a TS shiftmaster or BD pressure controller will fix my problem? Anyone have any experience with these or know of another type that will work? I am also considering EFI live in the future and I know I can block the code but don't know if the trans shift points or anything can be set by EFI live? Please excuse my ignorance I am fairly new to this lol Thanks in advance!!

The 1740 code is found on 06-07 trucks with a super low stall converter, the ecm thinks the converter is in partial lockup and throws a code, either kill with efi or loosen converter stall to 150 Lower than stock.

Thanks Lavon! I'll just deal with it until I switch to EFI live until I can get myself a firepunk trans! lol
