While its apart
Ok I've got the rods and pistons out of my 12v. Anything I should be doing while they are out? I've already had them milled a bit.....any places to lighten? I'm sure balancing wouldn't be a bad idea...

Good thought....I've seen some vendors who do this I'll search to see what I can find. Isn't it a bit pricey though?

If you got the money why not throw a cam in while it's all apart?

Well its not quite that far apart, though I suppose it wouldnt be too much more to pull the radiator and intercooler. I'll have to see how much cash I have.

Not really that much to coat each one, depending on which coating you want. www.swaintech.com
