Well took out the crap arse k&n drop in filter and put in a wix 4" paper element.

Then I changed the fuel filter and saw what I was hoping I wouldn't see.

Put in a new wix filter. I hope this hasn't shortened my injector or cp3 life too much.

I also just went ahead and ordered the dual cat filter setup so hoping it's here to install over the weekend. The kit looks like it was really well put together so I sprung for it.

Then I plugged in my CTS and fooled with it. It's really neat and I think I will like this a lot.

Stock truck quarter mile with a very mild boost launch if it will even do any.

Think the stock lift pump will have enough pressure by the time it gets through the two filters?

Well that was a concern of mine but a few people have posted that the lift pump was sufficient. Well see soon enough.

Well I've had the truck about 10k miles and it's been pretty good. My only complaint is the a/c has been a little sub par. It's like the fan doesn't pull enough air across the condenser. When I go slow and can hear the fan come on it gets really cold but other than that it's just cool. Finally got the twin fuel filter setup installed. It seems like a pretty good kit. Very tight radius on the hose on a short bed truck but it works. I also had the bend that truck bracket around some to make room for the hoses. Also installed a bull ox gooseneck hitch. That's about all I've done for now.

I think maybe the front diff is a little loose or does this seem normal. It's looser than the Dana 60s I've had.

Was that in 2WD? Everything can move until it's locked up.

Yeah in 2wd. So you think the front ring and pinion should have that much slack? Seems like it should be tighter to me...?

36.7 psi on my stock MAP sensor. Seems its a pretty wide range depending on truck. 36-42psi.

Well the front axle u-joints went out on me so I had to replace those. Went with the spicers; they seem to have the best reviews. I wanted to let it snowball and do the brakes and unit bearings and ball joints while I was in there but didn't have time. It actually all came apart really easily.

Then I also changed trans fluid and filter. It needed it pretty bad. Might be my imagination, but it seems it shifts smoother now. Also changed front diff fluid and t-case fluid.

That's about all I've done besides drive it.

Just had to replace the axle u-joints on my '06 as well. Did spicers and they seem to be great so far.

I just moved to Corpus for flight training, we practice around Victoria and Goliad all the time. Let me know if you wanna hit the track in SA one of these weekends.

Cool, I've been wanting to get my pilots license. Went up in a Beechcraft Muskateer B23 about a month ago for introductory flight.

The edge cts does actually data log and you can access the logs through a computer. It also shows the peaks in a menu in the cts without a computer. So far I've had great luck with mine.

I've never plugged it into a computer but did hear that it could do that. So far I like it alot.

Got me a FlashScan V2 last night so I flashed the truck and started the tuning process. Boy is there a lot of options on here and a lot to figure out. Since the rest of the truck is stock I would like to just try and increase mileage and see if I can phase out the pilot fairly early on (like below 1500 rpm). Any and all pointers or tunes welcome.

Well here's the two different VP tunes I'm working with. One on left was given to me and it idle - 1000 it has pilot. One on right is straight main injection, no pilot, my map I made. The maps are pretty different though. Comments.
