Just curious if anyone is running this setup on a cummins? They say 2 pounds less per cylinder, which to me means a lot when ur flinging at 5000+ rpm. Using a longer rod and shorter piston with a Duramax pin. I see a lot of rod bearing wear
Any input would be nice please

I'm currently building a new engine for my mud truck with them. Will be interesting to see how it runs. We also lightened the crank as well. It won't be running till early spring sometime though. I'm currently working on moving the engine back in the frame and moving everything back with it. I have a build thread in the Dodge Comp and Perf section named rebirth of Monster Mudder.

CP-Carrillo is one of my sponsors, been using a .80 thou longer rod for the last couple of years from them running high compression.

I have heard talk of spinning the rod journals to Hemi size (2.375") so an off-the-shelf bearing could be used.

I had considered offset grinding to reduce stroke. I'm not sure the hardness is deep enough on rod journals.
