Don, what do you consider "large"? Rip should've put in an order today to upgrade my Flux 2 tips to Flux 4's (thank you BTW). I would love to have injectors that are "the poop"...I think!

Imagine the oval slots in the wheel as the injector discharge holes. I suppose ideally, if you could somehow taper the oval opening slightly smaller inward, it would allow for much better fuel distribution into the piston bowl. As holes go larger, the spray inevitably ends up out of the bowl. By using an oval discharge hole, it would fan out as a wide triangular spray, and be relatively flat.

Just my opinion, we might be talking about eggs for all I know.

I am not trying to mess up your thread Don, just checking if we are on the same page.

Personally I think it is a very good idea, I hope you can get it to work and figure out how to replicate it from hole to hole precisely.

This could potentially save the CR meltdowns, at least I hope so.
