Nitrous setups????
I am gonna be setting up the nitrous system on the Ranger tomorrow, and am wondering how you guys have them setup. I am running the TS Powerfool kit, and have purge, and two stages. I have heard a lot of folks talking about using the purge to help spool. Where are you guys running the stages. I am going to run them after the HIGH pressure turbo just before the intake horn. Where should I put the purge if I want to use it as described above. If you have pictures of your setup that will help too.
Darren, Phil, Mickey, Jeff, and Dan Scheid need not reply.

you can use a 1/8th " compression fitting into a compression 90 plumbed into the air intake but i would wait to do so until you know for a fact you have a spoolup issue. i dont think, if the turbo's are sized properly, you should EVER need such a thing. maybe with a huge single at altitude...until then, plumb the 1/4" line somewhere showboatish...

The nitrous nozzles are right in the front. Thanks Mike.

I don't think it matters that much, just the jet sizing is what will matter. I think for drag racing, you shouldn't need the bottle to spool, because then the truck can fall under the chargers when trying to stage.

OK, sounds good. Might actually get to try and spool it today.

Tim I believe with your chargers you will not have any issues getting them too spool. Get it to run on fuel first. They spray it until you achieve a "Dock-Boy" then rebuild it and back it down one notch.

You have a fresh motor and new combination of parts and new truck chassis dynamics to work with. Get the truck to start off with fuel only. - Tweak and adjust to get it to drive through the power band to your liking.
- Work on suspension adjustments and tire pressures until you feel in control and safe with the fuel only passes.
- When all is well start to add nitrous to take it to the next level.
Just my opinion.

Post a picture of your engine bay in this post so we can photochop locations of jet placements.

I would put the one you plan to use for spool-up in between the two stages. This allows you to cool the air entering the larger charger both for spool up and down track if you feel the need.

The guys at Trusted Performance welded in 7 1/8th bungs on the pipe from the LP to the intake, and two on the HP to LP tube.

That's what I did for about 60 bucks.
Tim, I would follow Mike's advice.
FWIW, in order to purge the system when I made it a 3rd stage I would put the truck in neutral and bump the throttle as I quickly tapped the nitrous a few times.

WHere you have the first stage, wouldn't that cause a problem with the HP turbo? Seems like it would eat the comp up pretty good.

It should not hurt the turbo or wheel. It all depends on how you want the nitrous hit to come on off the line and what it will do to the charge air during the pass.
BTW I wish I had room in my engine bay like you do
