Sorry for the exteremly slow response we have been really busy lately which leaves me no time to get on any forums. I will be sure to check in here once a day for a while to answer any questions.
When running straight water or a low methanol content blend the actual flow rates need to be lowered because we are not adding fuel to to the motor which is in effect severly slowing the flame front if too much fluid is being injected. At this point you will either loose power or the motor will start bucking. If this happens you can always "raise" settings which will make injection less agressive or run less nozzle.
With a 50/50 water/methanol mix and the correct flow you should be able to see/feel a 70HP gain on just about any diesel. One common mistake is when a customer gets a kit and installs all the nozzles thinking that more is always better. This really isn't the case with w/m injection. I like to tune things in agressivly then back fluid out after seeing how a motor reacts to quench/bog/bucking ect. Many motors out there really only need to be running one 625 nozzle to see the best results. Up to about 500 CRANK HP can be supported by a single nozzle.
