After thinking about it, one thing I would recommend doing to have a smooth transition from the 4-5/8" to 5" pipe is weld in a cone on the flange to the pipe to cut down on turbulence. It would be a better transition instead of the big jump in size. It is still much better than running a 4" downpipe.
