Truck still hates me. Guess it was over tightened? Drove it probably 75 miles the other weekend after getting the head back on. Jumped in it headed to town and got on it a little bit and when I let off it made a bang and started hugging out the intake. This happened in about 3 miles.

I put another hold down on and the truck drives fine. I have a fuel leak on number 5 at the line which is the one that broke the holder. Going from 7x12 dap quality sacs to Weston’s 6x13 vco made a completely different truck out of it. Literally no smoke, just wiffs a little haze and she comes alive! Truck finally feels like it makes power again, keeps you in the back of the seat and runs about 70 psi of boost and 1500 degrees.

Did finally give the truck a bath it’s been in the shop since about September of last year. Doesn’t clean up bad for being almost 20 years old

Thanks guys she’s came a long ways in the last few years! I still have a slight miss off idle but number 5 is still leaking. I think I have a cracked line. Hopefully schieds will sell individual lines to me.

Hopefully get it on the dyno in September, curious to see what it makes it’s always fought us. My buddy owned it before me and it was bone stock I’ve helped him on everything up until I purchased the truck.
Dynoed 330 hp on a 62/68 vp pump 150hp injectors and a quad
Dynoed low 500s 525 I think after Farrels p pump 7x12s colt cam and s300g over 475

Numbers are pretty disappointing but it’s a reputable dyno at Randall’s in Aqwauka Illinois

Really hoping to be north of 7 with 63sxe and JEB 475
