Smarty SSR - ECM Program for manual transmission needed - Competition Diesel.Com

I am in the middle of replacing my partially upgraded 48re with an NV5600 in my 2005 2500 and needed to know if the Smarty SSR contains the proper manual transmission ECM program to install or will I have to acquire through some other source.

A new Smarty SSR is in transit as I type this to me for just this purpose.

Please advise

Contact Bob Wagner, he has sent a file for others that have done this.

You will need a vin specific recovery software.

I pulled the nv5600 out of an 03 and am placing in an 05. I assume you want the 03 since this came from the manufacturer as manual and not the 05 which is the auto which is getting the manual
