Valair triple disc

How long will my clutch last with about 20 hooks a season? How long are you guys getting out of one? It is Valair's competion clutch not the street one.

Depends on how long your slipping it each time.. the more you slip it, the greater the chance of it glazing and getting hot spots.. II'm running a valair sinterd iron weighted triple disk, have 3 hooks.on it from last year and when I pulled it up grade the trans it looked like new..

Depends on how you drive it. Just take it apart and measure disk thickness and check how badly the pressure plate is warped. If it isn't too bad take some shims out to get the fingers back to the right height and run it.

i dont think the new ones are set-up like this, dan will correct us on that when he reads this, unless he got banned from here also to many variables to the question. you shouldnt have many issues, its a very popular clutch for a reason, drive like you need to win.
