I wish we could get away with front widow tint here, that looks great.

Got some more progress done with the truck however not as much as i had hoped due to the hunny not feeling good today.

The initial mock up of the hot pipe went well and only needed minor tweaking to get almost dead on. There is still clearance for the oil drain line and I will build a bracket to support this off of the transmission cooler mount on the engine mount.

Click the image to open in full size.

The biggest pain in the butt was making the t6 to 3inch adapter, started out as a 4 inch piece of pipe smashed to fit the edged of the inside of the flange then multiple cuts and reliefs to get my corners straight with the flange. Then some cuts and reliefs on the top to neck it down to 3 inch. Im using a flux core welder so the welds are not pretty but as long as they hold I wont have any complaints.

The hot pipe is 95% done and should be finished tomorrow, Ill mount the turbo and get the cold pipe (compressor side) finished up, then time for the top turbo to intercooler. After all that will be the exhaust. which there is just barely enough room for.

Is that an HX35 on the manifold? The other turbo completely dwarfs it in size, lol.

Got everything done today minus the down pipe, oil lines, and external waste gate.

at lunch it looked like this
Click the image to open in full size.

Built the support mount for the hot pipe which uses the two bolts for the trans cooler on the engine mount. This supports the gt55 and the he351cw from underneath and bolts to a tap on the hot pipe for easy dis-assembly.
Click the image to open in full size.

Mocked up to cold pipe, Its a tight bend but it works and bolts up almost flush.
Click the image to open in full size.

Click the image to open in full size.

Welded it up and got the boot on it.
Click the image to open in full size.
Click the image to open in full size.

Mocked up the cold pipe with just enough flex for the engine to tourqe but allows straight boots.
Click the image to open in full size.
Click the image to open in full size.

Over all the kit is very easy to break down and can be down to just the header in about 15/20 min. Also made sure I had hood clearance . Will have the compressor housings and cold pipes powdercoated and get some header wrap for the hot pipe and down pipe. (may take it to polydyne and have him coat it the same as the header and turbine housing on the gt55)

How much room is there for the downpipe? I'll be interested how these run. I'm thinking of something similar for one of my trucks.

It's tight but will squeeze in there, leaning towards making a 2 piece downpope so its not a complete pain to install/remove
