Holiday Sale 20% off + free shipping
Here's the holiday sale for CompD members! For anyone who's doing a winter build or missed the last sale, here's your chance to get a set of blankets cheap. 20% off and free shipping. Keep in mind I can do custom twin sets, hot pipes, manifold blankets, or anything you want covered with just a few measurements or pics. This will save you $20+ on any blanket you want and over $40 on a Turbo Sock/ Manifold Blanket combo. Any questions, need pics or anything else let me know.

Retail manifold blanket $124.99, S300 Turbo Sock $99.99
CompD members running sale for the combo $199.99
Holiday Sale would be $160 shipped for both. They come in black, silver, or tan (natural).

Black and natural I do believe.
I think I may just go for the exhaust housing sock.

As far as the turbo, i x-wrap mine.If i want to try a different turbo, the sock comes off without tearing it.It has straps you dont see if installed per instructions. The spot that the egt goes has a bracket that use to hold the heater line.I changed mine to over the turbo instead of under.I havent had a chance to finish it. Hence the ziptie. If you dont use your bracket no worries. The blanket goes on with straps you cant see.

August (Duallyspeed) came up with a good way to be able to run the blanket on several turbo's until you work out waste gate issues or find the perfect turbo. I'm working on ways to make the blanket's live longer for the guys who pull them on a weekly basis (for whatever reason) but it really comes down to the fact that it's a material and the more you put it on, take it off and mess with it in general, it will eventually fail. If you put it on and leave it, it'll easily last the life of the turbo.
I know I've said it before but I'll post it again. If you have a blanket that you've put on and removed several times, and have a few rips, tears, or frays. I will fix it for free, if it fixable. All it will cost is shipping to me, if the blanket is not fixable, I will sell one at a very good discount. Thanks guys.

Thanks for clearing it up.
I may have to go ahead and just get both blankets instead of one. I mean why not, I'm saving money right...

All PM's replied. It's actually almost 30% off retail if a manifold blanket and turbo sock are bought together. Since CompD members were already getting a little more than 10% off retail on the combo.

Depending on when my new chargers get here, and I get the piping built, I'm gonna need a set for an S300, S400, a hotpipe, downpipe, and something for the external wastegate piping if you can do it...I don't know when I'll get it all put together though
Also still need to get some measurements off the tractor I need some blankets for as well
We'll see how quick things get here...

Are you having problems with it burning surrounding parts? Simple answer, yes it will work. The material I use is good to 1800* continuous and short excursions to 3000* so mostly anything that needs covered to keep heat where it needs to be, the blankets will work.

I'm sure I can build something for your set up. Custom blankets aren't usually an issue if I have some good specs/pics of what needs to be covered. On twin kits I usually do both turbos and hot pipe with the 3 layer blankets and send wrap for the down pipe to save cost for the customer in an area that doesn't necessarily need all 3 layers.
Turnaround time isn't much either, maybe a day or two. I don't like being the guy people are waiting on.

I've never done one for the Armstrong header but it looks to be comparable in size to the stocker. I'd need a couple measurements and pics so I know it's made right the first time. I may need a measurement on that 18cm housing too, not too sure on that size for an HX35 but I'll give you pricing on the stock turbo blanket and it should be close.
Manifold Blanket-Retail $124.99, Running CompD Combo Sale $100, Holiday Sale $80 If you bought the manifold by itself you'll be at an even $100
HX35 Turbo Sock-Retail $90, Holiday Sale $72
$152 shipped for both.

Thanks for posting that Wes, glad you like the blankets. The silver looks really good when you have both the manifold and turbo covered. Weekend bump ladies and gents.
