#10 plate installed some concerns.

So I installed a #10 plate full forward and I get very little smoke.

I get a puff if rev it in neutral but I was half expecting when I put it in that it would put a decent sized cloud out when I floored it. (I am not a fan of smoke trust me)

however I get less than what I expected its not a big increase in power. I was expecting a shock to the system

I however was told by Tate that I should put in 3k springs because once the plate starts to fuel I would basically be shifting gears as the truck would be defueling

also I have 4.10s maybe that has something to do with it.
 
A 10 plate in a 5 spd truck,full forward,should turn daylight into darkness behind you.

Are you sure its a 10 because it sounds to me like it is not........Andy
 
#10 plate before i did everything to my truck made a huge difference and it smoked good. that was stock pump and a dd clutch were the only mods at the time.
 
doesn't sound like its all the way forward. when i put my ten in there was a nice cloud behind me.
 
full forward is towards the grill. with a # 1o full forward there should be a big difference. should pour smoke til turbo spools then just a little haz until you let off.
