Newbie question: Can someone explain the difference between a regular vavlebody and a full manual vavlebody?

Nothing is wrong with my vb. I just like being in control of everything. My first car had one and I like the control.

Dave, A manual vb does not rely on governors/computers to control shift points. You control them at all times by shifting. Its mostly used on race car/truck stuff because the shifting can be harsh due to throttle pressure being high.

I like the manual(5spd) valvebody in my truck too. Haha.
Why not convert to a manual tranny?
