Who to send valve body to for inspection

A little history, I bought a used Trans and a supposed goerend valve body that was a full manual setup, Trans/ valvebody setup worked wen it wanted to. Had a lost up looking for just a valve body and ended up buying a complete Trans. Swapped my torque convertor into new trams and it works perfect but I miss the full manual setup.
Fast forward to now I'm looking I send valve body to somebody to inspect an check for why it would lock the torque convertor all by itself. Maybe needs new solenoid?
