The new cams are $599 and are a different grind than the 181-210 caolt sold. I need you to get the numbers off of the back of the cam to see what grind it is. Also, if it ir a billet, not a re-grind, it should have HD or COLT cast into the camshaft half way down. If it does not, there were a few cams back in the day that used a billet that did not have a that in there.

Can you send any pictures of the cam?

Thanks,

Zach
It sounds like it could be a new cam not a regrind but I would need to look at it. My email is zacheryhamilton@yahoo.com

zach.
the numbers off of the back of the cam are.
3926671 these are stamped in.
c.343.s.b these are engraved in.
lfb3 these are stamped in.
there is a k.f and a 6 cast in the middle.if you can give me an e mail add i can get you the pics.
That is a old 181-210 .279-.305 cut on a previous design billete mail sent thanks.
That is a good cam but our new 181-210 makes 12-15 hp more and will spool the turbos 100 rpm sooner. That is what I woulod suggest.

Zach thanks zach. wich cam do you think would be better for me. my truck is an 02 6 speed. 150 hp in,edge drag box,62x71x14mm turbo, ats intake and ex man. i might be getting a hot rod pump and 200 hp inj and twins. i do use the truck to tow with. also can you get me a $ on a set of 24v lifters and a bottle of additive.

If it was machined and marked by Geoff, it is most likely a regrind, but there is a chance that it is a new billet.

As you can see there is a lot of room for switching and swapping. A lot of people have copied my cams and I am usually on the defensive. A few years ago, many cams were being sold as "Hamilton's" without me seeing a penny. Some of these cams had all of the correct markings. Another thing to note is that Olee has sold product direct from Geoff and that Geoff still sells the 181-210. That being said, I cannot say with all certainty it is or is not our cam. We do not sell that grind any more for a long list of reasons, most of them dealing with performance.

I apologize for any inconvenience. Please let me know if I can be of assistance in any way.
.

ok it is about 2 years old and i did get it from olee. guess i wont deal with him agine sorry for the inconvenience zach. also it is drilled and tapped for a retainer do the stock cans have this?
