Legit. 9 second (or better) 12v racers grab your slips, and step inside.

With the Right pump, but to many valves, I have been 6.01 with Mild Timing. I dont care to run out the back door, but should be deep into the 9s.

That's getting it done... were you spraying? was that the reason for the mild timing? curious on the timing number and how much spray if any. Thanks

No Spray. 28* by timing light. 13mm, Weston 6x.022...

Man that's sweet, jumped on your facebook page. looks like lexan and fiberglass are used now. Can I ask your race weight and what time you were running before the transformation? Also curious on what rpm your shifting at. Truck looks awesome .. Thanks T-MAN

Finally got into good info on page 2. :D As usual, it takes a full page of bullschidt to weed out the bullschidt. LOL

Yes Sir, I raced 6.70 last season with Fiberglass bedsides only, the truck weighed 5600 and would run consistant 6.40s. Prior to that, we were going right around 6.70s. This year we went all lexan, fiberglass front clip, doors and swapped to the bogarts with about 10lbs a corner of savings over my old racelines.

I have no idea where I shift, probably somewhere around 4000 or so. That will go up as our goal is consistant 5.90's, which I believe will be obtained with about 10-12* of timing.... give or take.

First season was launch in first then shift to third. The anteater did the 2-3 and overdrive shift for me including lockup. I locked at the top of first aswell as bottom of second and didn't seem to change anything. My best time was like a 10.20

Toward the end of the second season I put in a full manual valvebody and only use the anteater for lockup and overdrive. Fastest time so far at like a 10.08.

Okay good to know! I’m still running the stock pcm and it doesn’t seem to be what’s holding me back yet.

I think my timing at 27 degrees is putting my power below the rpm range I’m actually using. Also think I’ve been overwastegating my secondary and keeping boost too low.

John over at Granby Truck Shop posted a couple 9.0 passes on facebook from this past weekend racing high altitude in Colorado.

Fuel-only 13mm P-pump with a rowdy built engine.
