Horsepower vs weight vs MPH
What do you guys dyno at the rear wheels with a truck that weighs in the 5800lb neighborhood and traps in the 128-129 mph range?

It's between 5800-5820. I've scaled it several times myself from different tracks to a certified Cat scale by Daves old shop.

So your truck which I assume is a 4 wheel drive long bed is 6,000lbs with you in it, and if you weigh say (just guessing) 200 lbs then your 4 wheel drive truck is about the same weight as Lott's regular cab long bed two wheel drive truck.

Comp D Horsepower Calculator
5800 lbs, 128 mph = 825 rwhp.

The only problem Jeff is you run low to mid 10's....David could barley muster a 11.4!!....................then it blew up!!
Oh, but I forgot, dragracing is all about MPH so that ET stuff doesn't matter does it David?

That was all in the 60' Greg. I was working on it when I had time and was making progress. If Dave ever decides to get the truck running again then I'll finish lining out the 4 link. I have some very educated people to talk to on set-up if I ever get the chance.
And be fair...you know damn well it went 11.1 not 11.4

The time slip I saw said 11.39  I didn't know it was acceptable to claim once in a lifetime passes without backing them up first
And it wasn't all in the 60' It's the POS tuning combined with not knowing how to set up the truck Why do you think poor little David could never dyno above 500 hp? Because the master 7.3 tuner doesn't know how to tune it from 2000-3200 rpm

Whatever you need to tell yourself, Greg.
Hell...500hp trucks run low 11's all day long I guess.
Not everyone lives and dies by dyno numbers like you do.

See.................this is where you and your buddy are mixed up!!
You two think I bust his stones because you think I believe it didn't have the hp because of the dyno numbers.
If either of you were smart enough, you would understand why all of Davids trucks dyno low and can't run ET's Because David doesn't, he runs around looking like a retard harping on his 128.98 all the time because thats the only thing he has to hang his hat on Well guess what, this is drag racing not the Bonneville Salt Flats! Who gives a crap what your MPH in the 1/4 mi is if it takes you an hour to get there!!

Don't flatter yourself
Instead of starting threads trying to get affirmation from people on the calculated hp of an engine that blew itself to bits 3 yrs ago, why don't you field a truck TODAY and show up at some races? !
