Ok This is a weird one I hope someone can answer! I hauled a 20k trailer and got stuck in reverse!
here's what happened: I had to back a trailer up a dirt driveway small grade up soft dirt lots of stop and go. The tranny temps hit 220 real fast I hit the cooler fans to stabilize it and it started dropping pretty quick however I could not get the truck to power up the last 10 feet. I would have it in reverse and give it fuel but it just would NOT light the turbo, it was pushing tons of black smoke But wouldn't go past 1500 RPM even floored it sat there!? Any ideas why? Engine was a little warm but not enough to throw a alarm. I finally had to pull forward to level ground and make a run at it in reverse got it where it needed to be but it wouldn't go back another foot so had to drop it there! 700hp and can't move a lousy foot not even brake the tires free in dirt!
