Already planned on using the big Chevy wheel cylinders, mostly because they are in stock at the parts store. The Dodge pieces have to be special ordered
Vatozone also shows a different brake adjuster kit for the 3" shoes, is it necessary these be changed to make it work?

I had to use a 92 model about a year or so ago when my truck was down. I bought a Deere disk and had to haul it home about 95 miles. The truck was stock and did very well pulling the disk on a 30ft. PJ trailer. Couldn't stop for nothing.

I replaced both front soft hoses and the hard lines. The truck stops 100% better.

Agreed the brakes are the down fall for sure. Good trailer brakes on all axles help a lot.

I have done disc brake swaps on rock crawlers before. Has anyone done any on these trucks? I am thinking of doing one also what hydroboost setup is everyone switching to? Booster, hoses, part num, OR year make model, etc.
