problems start @80 psi
Have somebody ever swap complete disc brake setup from '01-'02 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 to 94-98 2500 axle with drum brakes?
Maybe it's: mission impossible, but I will find out.
I bought a '02 Dodge Ram 3500 cut rear axle ends (complete disc brake sysetm) and I want to install it to my '98 Ram 2500 axle.
I found out, this is not just bolt on job.:doh:
Maybe half of the problem is here: disck brakes are fom Dana80,dually , but my axle is Dana70.
Ok, I removed discs from dually axle hubs and I made test fit.
They will fit to my drum disc hubs, but I have to cut original axle end (this welder bracket where the durm cylinder end plate is attached) , the bolt battern is differend and also size.
New bracket have to weld to new location at least 1 inch to diff dierction.
