school me on left inner axle shafts

recently i broke two left inner axles on my mud racing truck. 95 dodgen dana 60 . the first two axles neck down a bit before going to splines, the one i have in now has splines directly cut into the shaft with no size differnce in the shaft, is this and aftermarket shaft or out a later year axle? is there a good aftermarket axle available?

I've seen stock shafts cut like that.

There are a ton of places for chromo/300M shafts. I buy all my differential thjngs grok easy coast gear supply. Hands down the best price, service, and shipping I've run across.

I use Yukon's 35 spline 4340 CAD delete kit (both inner shafts) through diffsonly.com

I just robbed the 35 spline side gears out a spare D60 open carrier into my stock D60 carrier. The Stock inner shafts are 30 spline on those D60s.

Defiantly all ECGS. They offer way more than what's on their website.

Stock Dodge inner splines are 32, not 30. That's why we can't use another manufacturer's D60 to rob a long side shaft for a CAD delete.

No 32 spline inners on 94-99 Dodge D60s.

If someone are really desperate, use SuperDuty's D50 long side inner as it's almost right length and is 30 spline.

I'm confused. 94-99 have 30 spline axles, later models have 32??

94-99 have 30. 00-02 have 32. 32 is stronger , but I would go 35 spline and be done with it. Ford sd Dana 60s have 35 spline use one of their carriers or an older LSD rear carrier and buy aftermarket inners . I got mosers for 550$ for the pair

Oops, had the years wrong....

Don't waste your time with 30 spline when 35 spline stuff is so readily available (and easily) for a D60.
