Or maybe they would rather sell a complete head instead of a bare one. That way it's their design only type deal. Look at the names of parts they put in it. I just think the bare one is priced higher than a complete one. Doesn't make a lot of sense to do that but there has to be some reasoning behind it unless they don't use the brands they posted except for the 4k and up 2 heads.

The 4k one looks to be worth it but I wouldn't buy till numbers are out and seeing a needed improvement over comparable advances for same cash. Weight would be nice but what flow can be had for 4k. I just wait

Could very well be, just thought it was worth pointing out.

Be interesting to see how the steel sleeve threaded in the aluminum head works out for long term street use.

the parts listed on the website are used for all the heads

As far as flow all I will say is it will out flow the competitions by 18% with light porting.

you have to remember the head is not cast as a stock 12 head. We have moved the intake port to balance and increase flow every cyl is matched ...not close to the same.. exactly the same.

i understand what your saying. ive done porting on this cast stuff for years. i looked it over very well. yes it looks good. very good honestly. but what is the head your comparing to? im assuming you flowed on a superflow 600 if i was to guess. good stock cast ported heads with an 1.870 intake valves and standard 4.020 bore will flow 200-220cfm depending on casting. if you dont want to post numbers...thats fine. just pick a head you compared to and i will know what your talking about. others on here will not. brezenski? nyes? zzfab? hamilton? theres a big difference in these four. or better yet... just sell me one monday.

the insert has 6 index slots for the ball . It will be close but you will need to adj bottom washer thickness to get the right index

Sam, how long have you been running this head? Just on the drag truck or on street trucks too? Then when you say competitors will you pm me specifics? Im putting together my engine right now and was going to start ordering valve train and start porting but would rather try something new. Can you let any light on the dual spring set up pictured or the valve covers?

Thanks!!!

Edit- is there going to be any issues with the materials not working with each other like the GM 2.2-2.4 heads and spark plugs that they had? The metal with aluminum and heat do not seem to ever work out correctly.

as of now it has only been on the engine dyno in the alt. fuel setup. we are looking to start the diesel testing in the next two weeks.

I can't let ant light on the springs but what would you like to know about the valve covers?

some other points about the head are the water flow through the head has been increased 30% and the the seats have full flow 360 deg around them

Pricing on them. It looks to be two different styles. A two into one cover and a three into one cover. Do you have any pics of them also. Would they fix on a stock casting head? Breathers?

I think that's everything on them right now off hand.

Thanks

An LSM aluminum block and this head would make a nice little drag race package.
