12v pedestal mod for ARP

Looking for someone that's done the ARP head stud install on a 12v this is my first and it looks like a PITA!!
TAP THE HOLES AND THEN MACHINE THE PEDESTALS!
That thru my delivery date out the window!

It's super easy to do. The worst part is if you're not removing the head. If that's the case, you need to do one or two at a time and it's a pain if you don't have a bridgeport at your house.

You can also bottom tap in chassis with the head on, but it requires you to probably make something custom (an extension so you can drop one in at a time) to hold the tap and fish it out. You can also get away without doing the bottom tap (not recommended, but many do it).

This is why we have a spare set of pedestals at the shop. Makes it a quick and easy job. Or buy the A1 style that ARP bought the rights to. They only require machining the covers.
