The Hayes single cylinder diesel motorbike running at 7500rpm has inspired me to try getting that speed out of the Nissan HR12Dxx found in the Micra and their other econocars. Anyone beside me interested in this kind of project?

did the post have a link in it? because I'd be willing to discuss 7500rpm in a diesel.
 
But that Hayes engine is used in NATO motorcycle , it is ore-chamber diesel.
 
Isn’t that a member on here’s car? Andy2 comes to mind but I could be way off..
