Well starting my second build finished my 1992 first gen build. Here's the start to the new project.
Here's the day I arrived in Denver I flew from my home Helena,Montana to pickup this 1998 5speed long bed 12v. Had 220k miles when I bought it while it was down in Denver it had 191 Dv's put in with a #10 plate. Stock clutch still holding up.Click the image to open in full size.

Then about 2 months ago decided I wanted to tab the KDP and fix the oil leak. Come to find out it fell out on the P/O and he JB welded the case so it wouldn't leak as bad.Click the image to open in full size.

Since then have done 5th gear twice in less than a week. Took a day and a half before it went out again after having a shop fix it the first time. After that I decided to Start saving to just rebuild the engine.

Who designed that bumper?

And sorry about your bad luck! I've never seen a tappet snap at the bottom like that. What do the valves and pushrods look like?

Valves were bent... Intakes were the only ones that hit... Everything else is fine. Besides I need a new cam. Mercenary Offroad is building the bumper for me.
