Dana 70 - 32 Spline Spool

Does anyone have any information on a 32 spline spool for a Dana 70? The only spools I have been able to track down are for a 35 spline axle and nothing for the 32.

If anyone has any information that may help I would greatly appreciate it. It will be used for a drag racing application.

The reason you can't find one is because it won't survive. If you are making any real power and try to drag those axles they will snap.

for the cost of upgraded parts for a D70, you could build and swap to a 14bolt.

We welded the open carrier in our Dana 70 in our 2wd drag truck. The 32 spline axles didn't even make it to the track bore they broke... Now we run Chromoly 35 spline ones from Moser. They are cheap enough that i wouldn't even waist my time with the 32 spline axles. Is this a 2wd or 4x4 truck?

4wd. I ended up putting a 35 spline Dana 80 spool from East Coast Gear in the Dana 70 housing that was already in the truck. I used stock 35 spline axles out of a Dana 80 that I had laying around. If I break an axle I'll upgrade. If I break a ring and/or pinion I can take the spool out of the Dana 70 and put it in the Dana 80 and then put it under the truck. That seemed like the most logical route to me, but I don't have any passes on it yet so who knows.
