Fuel supply lines for ad on filter

I got a CAT filter replacement from xdp meant to replace the stock filter on a 2006 Cummins. I want to put this AFTER the stock filter so I can keep the stock one for the fuel water separator and water in fuel sensor. Where can I get lines made/ what size fittings do the fuel lines use.

If I take a line to inland truck parts or something can they make me new lines? Or is there a filter that has a water drain on it I can use?

Posted in wrong section but does anyone know where I can get lines made or what fitting to run rubber lines. I'm gonna drill tap the intake horn and mount the filter to it. Just need lines.

Idk where your located but I got some nice oil lines made from Teflon lined braided stainless steel from the local hydraulic hose shop called Midwest Hose & Specialty in OKC.

Filter is mocked up. I'm assuming i can just splice it in where the rubber supply and return lines go into the fuel pump. Just need fittings.

Thats not a bad spot for a filter actually. I run a remote filter under the bed and Id like to move the thing. The OEM filter is a rated for 60GPH I think? maybe get a water sep only or a water-absorbing type on the vacuum side. You can put some spin on filters on the pressure side. The CAT filters are probably ok. Placing a too restrictive filter on the vacuum side can cause cavitation.
Most of these things seem to come with 3/8 and 1/2 NPT threads. Just get some pushlok fittings and some quality fuel hose. The marine grade hose has a plastic liner which can be really really hard to get on the fitting, BTW.

What do you mean by vacuum side? Isnt the point of a lift pump to provide low pressure fuel, shouldn't draw a vacuum except during changes right?

draws a vacuum to pull fuel up. The more restriction on that side of the lift pump the more air youll pull out of it. Shows up as bubbles if you put a sight glass on it like I did.
Going with just water filtration on the suction side and filtration on the pressure side would work nice.

Fuel pumps are in the tank in a '06, no suction side external of the tank.
