Bumping this up. Other than a nice conversation piece, I don't believe I would personally try to run this stuff. However, this is just my opinion so if anyone is brave enough, I'll be glad to sell it to ya.

I'm keeping the price at $4,000 and I will ship for that price.

Again, please PM me here.

Thanks Compd

A lightweight block would be very beneficial, and polishing it up would be a bonus. I have a 13mm Sigma that would definitely add some wow factor to the project.
Had a buddy that built a 350 big cam cummin's bike with 10 ft long handle bar's and dual rear tires he sold for over 150 K went to Japan I will see if I can find a Picture of it . had a allison trans hooked via chain drive to a ford 9 in rearend

The head, IMO, would be OK with the addition of a complete iron (or something similar) insert to hold the valve seats. The large OD of the 2 valve configuration allows for too much growth in the aluminum and the valve seats would not stay seated. A four valve arrangement (smaller OD)has proven itself in the duramax engine.

The block, IMO, might be OK with a very low HP build. You would just have to physically see one and pick it up to realize the fragile construction of the block. Cylinder pressures could be contained in the steel sleeves but the tension forces delivered to the block by the downward force of the combustion event would, IMO, separate the block at or near the cam bearings and along the cylinder to crankcase line.

I honestly no longer have the time or money to prove myself on this theory. I'm sorta hoping someone else will.

Why do a stockish hp lightweight first gen build? Something along the lines of a fuel millage daily driver? I can't imagine you let your first gen stash go have you?! Nice to see your still around and kicking though!
