I tried that route with the fuel pump block off, but instead I ended up cutting the top shelf off the original bracket since it was supporting my wiring harness. Looks good though.

Yeah I'm not 100% sure if I'll run that block off plate or not yet because of the wiring harness but well see. It was only 7 bucks couldn't pass it up.

I got a pretty uncommon pump, it took me awhile to figure out what it was off of but luckily a buddy of mine gave me a guys number in Charolett North Carolina that builds pumps and let me tell you he knows his stuff. Pump will be going to him to be built here soon.

looking good. I would do cast iron gray on the block to set off the red.

I painted one side and decided to strip it and wire wheel the block a bit more.. Ill primer and paint it again this weekend.
