first pull
May be getting to pull truck for first time this weekend, and was wanting an opinion on gear selection. Truck has nv4500, 3.54s, 33in tire and has dynoed rite at 600hp. I know every application is different, just want opinion. thanks.

if you have the truck set up to hold traction 3rd low and let it buzz if you have the valve springs to take 4k plus if its a loose track try 4th low.. i wouldnt go on the high side even thow 2nd high is a little lower than 4th low..

also curious about this. my truck is setup similar. although i don't think its running as much hp right now probly closer to 500 and is a dually. the guy that had it before me said he pulled in 4th but that seems like a high gear to me

my last weekend run, was about 4200 at 3/4 track. went 301 when the stock posi let go, 2nd was 276 with 10 other trucks behind http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fY_D7-6pHeUthem
