'94 short wheel base 2wd street/race truck build
Got this truck as a pretty bone stock rust free truck. 210k miles, few compound turbo configurations, some nitrous, about 50 1/4 mile passes and lost an oil squirter/swelled piston and scuffed #1 cylinder. Pulled the engine for a rebuild and things went from there. When engine was out I decided to cut the frame off at the stock firewall location and splice on the front frame of a 2004 ram 1500. Brief rundown of the build so far:
-5 lug hubs, aluminium upper A-arms, manual r+p steering, dual piston caliper front brakes
-15:1 compression mahle wide bowl cast pistons, hamilton 188/220 cam, ported and polished head. Fire ringed block, girdle, moved 17.5" rearward in chassis
-62/68 .7 T3 under 88/96 1.32 T6
-13mm pump, 5x22 injectors
-mvb 47rh
-3.55 Dana 80 with locker, stock drum brakes
-caltracs
-10 point roll cage
-fiberglass hood and front fenders
-lexan rear and side windows
-12gal fuel cell
-RPM Performance datalogger
Right now I am still finishing up putting the front of the truck back together, it should be ready to race again in a few weeks. Tons more details to the build, feel free to ask. Just listed the basics. Once I get it finished and running consistent and reliable I plan to do hot rod drag week or rocky mountain race week with it.

11.0@108 blew cac boot around 1000' mark. Had a lot of problems rupturing/popping off charge air boots. That is why I'm running all hard pipe/vband connections now.

Previous best was 1.64 60' on 30.5x11.2 dot drag radial. I'm hoping for a substantial improvement on 60' from the improvement in weight distribution. Entire engine is behind the front axle now.

You doing anything in the rear. Or keeping leafs? I’d say moving the engine back will help tremendously

Here are a few more pics. Still can only post from computer. I'm open to answering any questions about the front end swap or anything else about the build. I'm not a big time writer, but I do like to share useful info with others.

Thank you! The interstage piping is .065" stainless and the rest is .065" aluminum. Got tired of constantly rupturing and slipping charge air boots so decided to swap to all hard piping and vband connections.

Maybe if I'm lucky it will hold enough to not need a fan!
