New head / Intake

WPE finished up my new head and intake, it should be in the mail next week just in time to wrap it and stick under the tree as my wife’s Christmas present, yeah right you know that won’t happen, she a great woman and all but I would be dead if that was her gift

It’s a new Cummins head from Alabama cylinder head that went to WPE to have the stock intake plenum milled off then off to Indy Cylinder head to be ported and polished, and then back to WPE so Chris could build the intake plenum with individual runners.

Yes it’s a little different design as when I put the dodge body on we dropped the body down pretty low, basically the hood is just above the valve covers so no room for a big round plenum. What ever was to be built couldn’t stick up above the valve covers hence the oval design which should still provide the needed volume. Heck just having the intake side of the head ported and polished is an increase from what we have now. I am thinking the head work with the new intake should flow at least twice as much air as what we have now.

I will be heading up to Ponci’s Diesel in early Jan so we can get this new head installed, I can’t wait.

Hey Scott throw up a pic of the old setup, I've seen it even in person(walked up & introduced myself @ TS) but I've forgotten since then.

I saw that intake on Chris's facebook pics. Was wondering who it was for. How much would you take for the old intake and lines? What size lines are they and will they work on the standard p-pump? (didn't know if you had some custom D/V setup that used different ends on the lines)
