EGR Delete ??

I had a guy do the EGR Delete and remove the DPF Delete.....But didn't use a programmer...Yes he is getting codes, but claims the truck runs great.

What will be the side effects of not turning the DPF and EGR off?

I lost concentration when I saw your signature.

I spoke with Trent from Outlaw Diesel her in Stilly about the deletes at lunch today. We never really spoke about not using a programmer to turn that stuff off. I'm sure he'd know. I just can't remember his username.

I would really consider doing it sooner. The EGR is detrimental to the engine, with the soot it puts back in the engine, and all. Wait and make sure you got a good one, by putting on about 20K and maybe some oil analysis, then delete it!

20K? Only 500 miles to go! Maybe I need to save back a grand from the sale of the 02 and put this stuff on soon.....dayum.....my wife is going to kick my ass. . I know how detremental it is....but she's never going to believe me. Can you make me a doctor's note?

I sent her a link to this. Maybe she'll be calmed back down by the time I get home.

Yes they have. No longer produced commercially as far as I know. Last year I bought around 100 sets when I found that out. And then resold them for a profit. I may have some left over somewhere.
