stereo wiring question

ok i have been trhu 3 wiring adaptors searches no luck.

i put my radio from my 01 in the 08. but i get no power and the pin marked in every schematic for both the adaptor and truck is not there, diffrent place. i tried metering for the switched and constant hots.
its a kenwood and i tested it just in case.
this is driving me totally nuts. and now my parrot bluetooth wont work too, :bang:bang

has anyone ever run into this problem? im about to run a wire from the battery with a switch on it.

What Harness did you get for your stero? Does it have a little black box on it? I had to get a harness that would correct the voltage to 12v as the aftermarket stero needs.

yes i got the one with the black box on it. and one with just the wire pigtails.
i ended up just going thru it for 4 hours and got it to work. with the pigtail.
