Cool Diesels at NHRA Divisional Events

The thought has been spinning in my head for some time now- among other things spinnin in the ol noggin.

But wouldn't it be cool to be able to go to an NHRA Divisional Event for an entire weekend of qualifying and racing?

Hopefully the way the trend is heading, we too will go the way of imports and explode onto the NHRA scene.

I have been talking to NHRA about this, and working on this very deal. This would amount to real exposure at events with a large group of people, the demographics which would be potential customers for the people that are now and might in the future sponsor trucks. This would put Diesels in to mainstream.
Take Pro Street, get a event sponsor and have a race where you have one qualifying session on Friday , two passes on Saturday , and race on Sunday.

We would probably work with Chassis Engineering in West Palm Beach. They are the ones we're taking Mini Me to next week to get tubbed.

If the truck is ready, we'll be there. We're 4-linking, mini-tubbing and going down to the lightweight class and hopefully a little bit faster.

If the truck is not ready, we'll probably just hang out. Bring plenty of beer.

BTW the tube truck has nothing to do with Mitch's X

I'm thinking this is going to happen sooner than later due to the fact that http://www.dhraonline.com/ is already working with NHRA on doing just this

It's good....made 6 passes at Smokin in the Smokies. Lots of new stuff being tested. Next year is going to be big (not that this year will be a slacker).
