3rd gen Dodge dash in 2nd gen

I’m starting the process of swapping in a dash from an 04 into my 00 model dodge 3500.
One of my questions is, will the hvac system from the 04 bolt into the 00 cab? Curious if anyone has attempted to try?
I’m also curious if the aluminum bracket the clutch and brake pedals bolt to in the 04 cab will possibly work in the 00 cab as well? I’m thinking if I could cut out that original steering column brace from the firewall, I could possibly bolt the 04 pedal bracing in and make bolting in the dash a little easier.
I’ve done some googling, but mostly coming up with results for a 4th gen dash install..
