Another 48re 2006 problem

Hi everyone I have a 2006 ram 2500 diesel .I rebuilt transmission and and used a asbestos clutches steels seals .and purchased a refurbished valvebody put it in truck and now here's the problem
Truck has good reverse.when put in drive it acts like it's in a higher gear .I need pull down in 1st and go.s ok I think 2nd and shifts good 3rd. And no OD?so far I tried battery cables together did not help?any help apreciated!

Double check your 8 pin plug on the Trans. Otherwise sounds like solenoid, transducer issue. Did you replace them with the refurb vb?

Thanks for reply I did check 8 pin plug 1 code p0973

I have just received new filter and Borg Warner sensor.hope it helps.

Update put a borg warner Gov and a transducer and new filter and it shift like new dash clear no code but before I got back a code p0973 came on and it started acting bad again

Update new oil 12 quarts new filter took it on road shifted perfect after 1 mile code p0973 again???
