Why does my truck haul ass in regen?

When in regen, my truck is ALOT faster. Drifting on dry pavement is no problem and flooring it from a stop will result in white smoke off the tires.

WHY?

I know how regen works, but dont understand why its so much faster while in regen. 6.7's are slower in regen....don't know about 6.4's....but in my truck, regen has become a fun event! :hehe:

Turbo spools faster, which I guess is because less back pressure from the DPF...and somehow the extra fuel injected to clean up the DPF goes through the engine as added power??? Im way confused

But yes Dex, its pretty damn fun!
