Need help with p2121 and p2122

I know, beating a dead horse, but even with the search function I am unable to find the answer I’m looking for. I have an 06 regular cab 3500 g56. Having dead pedal, p2121 and p2122 pop up, and it will smoke white and cut out and stumble when taking off or hitting the throttle while in neutral. If I can get the truck to 35 and set the cruise I can accelerate just fine that way even when pedal doesn’t work. Usually after setting the cruise at steady speed for a little bit the truck will start working fine. Engine has 33k miles on it, new injectors and cp3 also. The smoking and stumbling is intermittent, and doesn’t happen consistent with the two codes. I’ve put brand new batteries because one was bad, brand new cables because old ones were coroded, the APPS to try and fix the dead pedal which didn’t fix it at all, and I have cleaned every single ground on the truck. TxDiesel007 had posted in a forum once to search his posts for the fix, and I’ve looked and looked and can’t find anything about it, not sure if he is even on here anymore, but he mentioned a broken wire. If anyone has any information on this, I’d love to get it fixed so this truck can go on down the road. Thanks in advance
