WP Diesel PS winter upgrade!!

So if y’all don’t know the truck It was built for UCEeCeE qualifier in 2018.. was a 60,000 mile 3500 drw truck. We did all the fab work and transmission... upgrades this winter as we took ownership from the original owner we built it for...
48re with captured clutch design TC (basically taking a 47/48 to th400 lockup level)
Has a 3 speed 727 valve body with 4 external solenoids that operate: Dump, lock up, OD, trans brake
The truck is going small tire as well (28x10.5)
And finally putting a nice interior in! I’ll try to post more as we go the motor is a sleeved 6.7 down to a .020 5.9 wet block.. F1 will have the injector job for the fuel side and we plan to run someone’s 12mm cp3

So by Using the 727 valvebody, how is lockup and overdrive fed ? I understand the solenoid controls it, is the 727 valvebody just modified to reach the feed port in the case for lockup and overdrive ?

Yep machine through the casting and have bulk heads on the pan that complete the circuit.. the od will be fed through the gauge port.. these solenoid also can PWM the feed which helps smooth the transition!!

Some kickazz stuff Ethan! Glad to see you posting over here! I remember going with Tyler to your shop in college where you and Kolton rebuilding a duramax rear end in a driveway. Youve come a long way man.

Jay is engaged and working for cummins on generators.. he still dabbles into selling tunes... it was a lot of stress for him and was tired of working on the truck lol
