47rh to 48re

I have a billet triple disc converter from you for my old 47rh(fresh rebuild). Im trying to sell it and had a guy ask if it would fit his 48re? Ive heard the 48 can go in the 47 but not the other way around?

A 48 converter will go into a 47 transmission without doing anything. A 47 converter will go into a 48 transmission if you remove the sealing ring off of the stator support.
