BD Exhaust Brake

Just bought and installed new BD Brake, it works awesome. Really impressed with the performance of it, as well as the overhaul build of the product. I have a question about the DFIV unit though, what does it use the cruise hook up for? And is the brake supposed to remain engadged when the clutch is depressed?

Thanks Agains BD for a great product!!

The cruise wiring is to disable the cruise while the exhaust brake is engaged. This way the cruise doesnt try to speed you up while the brake tries to slow you down. The brake will turn on while the clutch is engaged and your foot is off the throttle. If you get one of the shifter mounted switches you can turn it on and off easily between shifts or you can rest your foot on the throttle just enough so the brake dis engages while it shifts.
