didn't ron allen make a little over 1k with a factory 12v lift pump when he forgot to turn on his secondary system?

Something that might be worth looking into. When I had my direct injection audi, the high pressure fuel pump (170 bar, ~2500psi) was a flat tappet cam/piston setup and we ran into the same issues. Putting a polished hard chrome coating on it helped get us to 220 bar until seals gave out.

Not saying you have to go that way, but throwing out ideas to a product I really want to see on the market!

Keep up the good work Will.

You said your 12mm drains the stage 1, what OFV/return regulator are you using?

Stock overflow valve shimmed to open at 40 psi.

Yes, Ron A claimed that he hit over 1k on his stock system, he made no claims about how much pressure it did or didn't hold, nor did he do it multiple times to see if his injection pump was happy pulling a vacuum.

One other thing to consider, a quick dyno run doesn't put near the load as a long drag strip pass or sled pulling run. If your system is set to hold 50 psi and there's a decent cavity of fuel at 50 psi like the whole fuel filter and lines, and the dyno flashes quickly for a second or two, it's possible to get power without adequate lift pump supply volume.

We learned this first hand on Todd's Frankenstein Truck, it would start at 60 psi and hold around 25 psi on the street with the dual electric lift pump setup Fass Titanium plus A1000 on separate feed lines. It would hold 25 psi because you couldn't stay in it long enough to drain the fuel pressure in the whole system all the way to zero psi. At the drag strip, and on the loaded dyno pulls, it was pulling pressure down to 1/2 psi on the data logger and killing upper RPM power. Swapping out the A1000 for a bigger Aeromotive Eliminator pump fixed the fuel pressure issue and the system will now maintain 45 psi or so and the smoke no longer cleans up at 3800 rpm...
