Hi,

I have a 2004 SD and 221000k.

I put a new cover and pump and new STC. It it is studded and has a EGR delete.

I have warm starting

I tested the ficum:

Key ON 48.1v
Running 44.5v to 45v

Could this cause warm starting issues?

Thanks in advance.

First thing first, it's a FICM!

Fuel
Injector
Control
Module

Next.

Anything less than 46v at any time is a failing FICM
You may have underlying injector issues.

If your handy with a soldering iron you may be able to repair it your self. Just google DIY FICM repair. I did it on my friends FICM and its worked well ever since. Theres also a fiew guys around you can send it to for repair for ~$200. A new one is quite expensive...
